While I have extensive training in the treatment for multiple emotional and behavioral disorders, my current schedule prevents me from taking any new patients for ongoing therapy. I specialize in psychological assessment and evaluation, and this occupies my entire time in practice.
At this time, I am happy to refer you to highly qualified providers in my area who have worked closely with me on cases over the years.

Andrea Russo is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the State of Georgia. While working towards her degree, she gained invaluable experience through volunteering on a crisis hotline, as well as through her work with senior citizens and their families in an Alzheimer care facility. While in graduate school, she worked in a locked unit, in-patient treatment facility at West Florida Hospital, and also was a caregiver to a quadriplegic student. During her internship through Volunteers of America of Florida, Andrea was fortunate enough to work with a wide range of psychological ailments for both veterans and HUD housing residents. She worked as a Team Lead for an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. There she worked with persistent and chronic mental illnesses ranging from Bipolar Disorder to Schizophrenia, mild to significant in nature. Currently, she has worked in a private practice setting for the past year and specializes in her work with adolescents and young adults. She prides herself on her ability to help youth find what drives them, their unique strengths and abilities, as well as in helping them navigate through the pressures they experience while transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. She feels competent in her abilities to help youth work through feelings of stress, grief, anxiety, lack of focus, and suicidal thoughts. She uses an eclectic approach to therapy that is based off of the needs of her clients. Some examples include exploring the mind-body connection, psycho-education, person-centered, positive psychology, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Andrea works in the same office as Dr. Lokken. She can be reached at [email protected] or (678) 856-6788.
